Ancient Tree Status: Thought to be over 1000 years old and hidden from view.. It has a central bole supporting five trunks. An ancient gem full of character and bursting with life.

The Ginkgo is a living Fossil. It has the unique honour of being classified by Botanists as: “One Species, One Genus, One Family and One Order”. The ‘Ch-Chis’ on the trunk, were drawn during a very wet study trip of the Tyntesfield Estate in Bristol.
